Opcit Research is a social research institute based in London (UK) and Barcelona (Spain). Established in 2006, we are academic researchers with advanced specialisms in understanding, measuring and evaluating the impacts of social policies. Our areas of expertise include social norm and behavioural change; policy advocacy; gender and human rights; the prevention of radicalisation, extremism and terrorism; rehabilitation of fighters; children’s rights and protection; strategic communications.
We have conducted extensive research in the fields of business and entrepreneurship and organisational change.
We have a strong, international and UK-based track record in measuring the impact of public policies for the United Nations, UK Government, European Parliament and NGOs. This includes experimental and quasi-experimental impact research, theory based and formative evaluation.
We are educators and communicators, providing institutional support to the UN and others on evaluation and social research methods, to help organisations learn from their own work.
